Riccardo Patrese

After Rubens Barrichello, Riccardo Patrese has the most Grand Prix starts in Formula 1 of all the drivers throughout F1 history. His active career spanned from the 1977 Monaco Grand Prix to the 1993 Australian Grand Prix and he was stable mate with Michael Shumacher during his last season in F1 with Benetton. This is what he does [...]

C’était un Rendez-Vous – Claude Lelouch

Entering Paris at Porte Dauphine and working his way through the city’s maze of streets until he reaches his lover on top of the butte Montmartre ignoring red lights and one way signs along the way, “C’était un Rendez-Vous” is the ground breaking film by Claude Lelouche and was met by outrage when it first [...]

Flat Black Mercedes CLK

Normally I wouldn’t look twice at the CLK from Mercedes but this flat black one really caught my eye, it actually looks good like this. I have long been toying with the idea of a flat black Porsche Carrera but everyone’s told me that’s a terrible idea. That’s until I conferred with Alex Roy and Jon [...]

Alex Roy

This gentleman is Alexander Roy, perhaps more famous as Herr Kapitän Roy of Team Polizei; the famous road rally team that has claimed trophies of all sorts and are now considered an institution in the underground, outlaw racing world.
He’s just released his tell all book about his quest to find The Driver and why he has had [...]

Metablogging

My dear friend Alex Roy of Team Polizei has written yet another fine entry in his blog about de Grisogono & Londino. Makes me very happy to know that he and Michael enjoyed themselves and that they’re coming back for more next year.
This picture is from when they had just arrived at the Splendido after a [...]

Unmarked Polizei Z8

Anders Bernunger and Michael Ross (wearing a Gumball patch during Londino!)

The Polizei Z8 in Poligny heading for Geneva. Only 5000 were ever built so it is and will always be a classic.
Since Michael Ross managed to get the first and only speeding ticket in Londino history Alex Roy is piloting the Z8.

Team Polizei

de Grisogono & Londino are honored to add to the list of distinguished participants; Mr Alex Roy and Mr Michael Ross, perhaps more famous as Team Polizei. During the tour however, they will remain in civilian clothes and instead of piloting their usual Interceptor they will cruise their way to Portofino in a BMW Z8.
