de Grisogono & Londino are honored to add to the list of distinguished participants; Mr Alex Roy and Mr Michael Ross, perhaps more famous as Team Polizei. During the tour however, they will remain in civilian clothes and instead of piloting their usual Interceptor they will cruise their way to Portofino in a BMW Z8.

I would offer to ride handcuffed, in the back seat, but unfortunately I know the Z8 does not have one! I love this car; I wait-listed for it at San Francisco BMW for almost 3 years. But when my car came in — I was an enviable #3 on the wait list — it was September 2000, and the high tech bust was already in high gear. Not a good time. Plus BMW SF wanted $275Gs for the car, a bit of inflation over its $129k sticker price. Best of luck to everyone in the LONDiNO competition, especially Team Polizei!
