Behold the atrocious monster that is the SsangYong Korando. An avid reader of The Cartorialist sent me some pictures of this truly awful model. At least they’re consistent in making all their models look fantastically ugly.

From the rear it looks like an old Suzuki Vitara but it’s the front that gets me. It looks like a boat, like a silly amphibious boat/car. The styling obviously wants to draw upon the heritage of the Land Rover and the Willy’s Jeep but fails miserably. And it’s not just the Korando, it’s all their vehicles. The Musso, the Actyon and the Rodious especially. It’s a bit like kicking in an open door or beating up a limbless man when commenting on the looks of a SsangYong but I just couldn’t resist.

Here’s a picture of the Actyon seen from the front. For those of you yet to see the a Musso or Rodious, it’s nothing to look forward to but I will have some pictures for you in the future. That’s a promise.
